Interior cleaning services for the Police Department. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Bank Check drawn payable to the Town of Poughkeepsie or a surety bond in the amount of 5% of the total annual bid amount to assure that a contract is signed. Payment and Performance Security equal to four months of the first year contract services cost as well as insurance coverages will be required prior to contract signing. Questions must be received only by email or hand delivery at the Police Department (BWalsh@townofpoughkeepsie-ny.gov) and Town Clerk (fsalvatore@townofpoughkeepsie-ny.gov) not later than 12:00 p.m. on June 12, 2023. This is a "Public Work" project subject to the New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rates and requirements. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality or technicality in any bid in its interest, and to determine the ultimate scope of a contract. Bidders are required to comply with the provision of Section 291-299 of the Executive Law of the State of New York.
