Renovation of a library in Jacksonville, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 27,759-square-foot library.
SEALED BID (PUBLIC OPENING). Auld & White is the Construction Manager for the renovation to UNF's Carpenter Library. Approx. 27,759SF Interior and Exterior updates. Base bid includes work on 4 floors. 1st floor: removal of shelving in closed stacks and replacement with manually operable compact shelving by Patterson Pope to be procured and installed by the GC. This includes an integrated floor system. There are four (4) options requested on the first floor. 2nd floor: conversion of existing office spaces to reading rooms. There is one option to make the white boards smaller on the second floor. 3rd floor: installation of new outlets in two areas, repainting of columns and raceways. 4th floor: conversion of balcony into an exterior study area September/ October start is anticipated. with completion in early August. Project schedule forthcoming. Trades include Demolition, Storefront, Gypsum assemblies, Flooring, Painting, Mechanical, Fire protection and Fire Alarm, Electrical.
