This project entails the performance of the following work: 1. This project is to remove and replace three existing underground steam pipes: 8 Steam and 3 pumped steam condensate. Perform site restoration. Site excavation will have to be done with hydro-excavation and standard construction methods based on the complexity of project with close coordination with existing utilities which are to remain active without shutdowns. 2. Other Work as indicated in the Contract Documents, but not necessarily described above. 3. Drawings, Use of: Do not scale the Drawings. If the Contractor chooses to calculate measurements by scaling the Drawings, it is at their own risk and is not considered to be an accurate measurement. The Contractor is responsible for the accuracy of measurements, elevations, lines, and grades of the Work. The Bidder must include a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for 100% of the amount of their bid or a certified check in the amount of 10% of their total bid. See Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code.
