The project consists of HVAC upgrades at four (4) areas of the High school; Kitchen preparation area, Guidance offices, Library and Gymnasium/Auditorium and all work as indicated on the drawings and as specified in the project manual. The estimated cost of the work for the project is $465,750.00. Bids are required to be hand delivered to the Treasurer's Office (2900 State Route 43, Mogadore, Ohio 44260) by the date/time indicated above, in a sealed envelope marked "Field Local School District - High School HVAC Project" along with the contractor's name affixed. Bids shall include, and bidders shall submit with their bids, bid security in the form of (i) a bond in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Sections 153.54 and 153.571 naming the Field Local School District as obligee for the total amount of the bid, including all add alternates. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will comply with the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code, Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Portage County, as determined by the Department of Commerce, Division of Labor and Worker Safety, Bureau of Wage and Hour.
