Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Chester Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of November 1, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The Project consists of modifications to Milltown Dam and various enhancements throughout the dewatered reservoir to create a public park as shown on the Drawings. Modifications to Milltown Dam include, but are not limited to, lowering the principal spillway, lowering the right embankment crest, and armoring the downstream right embankment face with articulated concrete blocks. Modifications throughout the dewatered reservoir include, but are not limited to, restoring the East Branch Chester Creek through the dewatered reservoir, an offline open water pond, walking trails, parking areas, signage, and landscaping. Question Deadline 07/10/2023 at 4:00 PM ET Questions Submitted Through Electronically. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10 percent of the Bid total, payable to the Owner in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the successful bid amount. The Owner reserves the right, at its option, to waive as an informality any, defects, errors, or omissions in any or all Bids; and to reject any or all Bids.
