Reference Number 0000321790 Questions are submitted online No This request for bids covers contract labor and service for HVAC Controls for City of Southfield owned buildings. The City's Facilities Maintenance Department maintains the physical plant in 51 buildings (864,000 square feet total) and is looking for an HVAC Mechanical Controls Contractor who has a minimum of five (5) years contract experience with sufficient permanent staff to provide emergency repairs and new construction as the needs of the City dictate. The Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all labor, tools, and services required by the Manager of Physical Plant Maintenance/Facilities Maintenance (Manager) or their designate to complete the service and emergency work as needed and subject to the conditions of the specifications as given to the Contractor. The Contractor shall be responsible for HVAC mechanical work involved in new construction, as well as related emergency repair and maintenance projects. The City is seeking a Mechanical Control Contractor with substantial experience in the areas of pneumatic, electric, and electronic controls as well as with energy management systems. The scope of this contract will be subject to upward or downward revision throughout the year as the needs of the City dictate.
