Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Columbia, Tennessee. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The City of Columbia is seeking bids from qualified firms to build a 40x60x12 metal building to for the new firearms range. The building construction should meet the following minimum material requirements and be built to specifications of the engineered plans attached. 6x6 post frame with 2x6 side girt spaced 24 O/C Wood Trusses on main building spaced 4 O/C with 2x4 lathe Wood Mono truss on back spaced 48 O/C Wood rafters on front porch spaced 2 O/C #1 painted metal throughout with 16 metal soffit Bubble wrap insulation under all metal Metal Ceiling on porches with beams wrapped (no Post Covers) 3 metal wainscot on all perimeters five 3x4 vinyl windows two 3x3 vinyl windows one 3/0x6/8 entry 6 panel door one 3/0x6/entry half door glass one 6/0x6/8 French door full glass one 10x10 insulated garage door (no opener) 4 concrete slab throughout including 10x4 sidewalk by garage door 6 seamless gutters with down spouts As of August 15,2023, received email from Sommar Jaynes sjaynes@columbiatn.com "Please find the attached Bid Results for Meta Buiding for Firing Range. Midsouth Bardominiums was the low bidder for the project, however at this time the project has be cancelled" As of August 16,2023, received email from Sommar Jaynes sjaynes@columbiatn.com " No. At this time we do not have plans to rebid the project." The project is canceled. Project is no longer needed.
