Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Millersville, Maryland. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for the demolition of a educational facility.

**As of July 20, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded . A timeline for award has not yet been established. 1. The Maryland School for the Blind has contracted separately with an Architecture and Engineering (A/E) team to design all aspects of the work. Through a public process, MSB has selected the firm of Marshall Craft Associates (MCA) to head the A/E team. 2. MSB will enlist the services of an Environmental Engineer and a Geotechnical Engineer separately from the A/E team. Results of their work will be provided as soon as available. 3. MSB will enlist the services of a Commissioning Agent who will perform independently of the A/E and CMR. 4. The new Gym and Pool building to be designed and constructed will be located at the intersection of Campus Drive and Woodland Drive (see campus map attached at the end of the document). 5. The Sippel Pool Building (building #5 on campus map) will be demolished to make way for the new Gym and Pool building, which will be significantly larger. The existing utilities to the building will need to be cut, capped, and then reconnected to the new work. These include: electric, water, gas, and IT infrastructure. Deadline for Questions Thursday, June 22 at 1:00 p.m. CMR services for phased construction of new gym and pool building with detached restroom pavilion (includes demolition of existing buildings on sites)
