Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Columbia, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The Town, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects in same, or to choose to make purchases other than strictly in accordance with price considerations, and/or to choose other than the lowest bidder, if it be deemed in the best interest of the Town of Columbia. RETAINAGE: The Town of Columbia shall retain five percent (5%) of the total bid amount for up to a period of one year from date of completion. The Successful Bidder may be required to furnish a performance bond for the full amount of this Contract, at the discretion of the Town. The performance bond shall have a value equal to 100% of this Contract. This bond shall be conditioned upon faithful performance of the contract in accordance with the plans, specifications and conditions of the contract
