Site work and paving for a civil project in Columbia, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Town of Columbia Connecticut is soliciting sealed bids for drainage and roadway improvements located along the east side of Whitney Road from its intersection with Willimantic Road (Route 6) south for approximately 1700 linear feet of roadway. This project consists of all necessary work to complete improvements as described on the Contract Plans and Specifications for the lump sum base bid. Improvements include saw-cutting existing bituminous concrete pavement, installation of catch basins onto existing RCP culverts, roadway restoration, bituminous concrete lip curbing, and associated regrading and turf restoration and other miscellaneous work as shown on the plans or directed by the Owner.
