The project includes but is not limited to the replacement of the existing access control wireless locks, gateways and the installation of new Genetec Access Control card readers, boards, door contacts, requested to exit devices, electrified door hardware, intercom door stations, associated devices, device cabling, software programming and licensing as specified. The project will also include the removal of the existing intrusion detection system, associated devices, cabling and the installation of new Bosch panels, motion detectors, alarm keypads, associated devices, device cabling, software programming and licensing as specified. Pursuant to the provisions of the Texas Government Code, Chapter 2269, Subchapter D, it is the intention of the Elgin Independent School District to select, via Competitive Sealed Proposals, a Contractor for the District-wide Security Upgrades Project. Elgin ISD encourages proposers to submit online through Bonfire. However, the proposer has the right to submit, in a sealed envelope, plainly marked with the Name of Proposers, CSP Number, and CSP Title: One (1) hard copy marked "ORIGINAL" of the proposal response and an electronic copy on thumb drive, labeled with Firm Name and CSP Number - All Submissions will be uploaded and reviewed in Bonfire. Late, faxed, or e-mailed proposals will not be accepted. No questions will be addressed unless submitted electronically.
