Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Michigan City, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a 239,897-square-foot parking garage; and for site work for a parking garage.
Flaherty & Collins Construction, Inc. is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors to participate in the construction of a project to be located at the NW corner of East 11th Street and Pine Street within Michigan City, Indiana 46360. The project is a six (6) level precast open-air Parking Garage to be constructed as a component of a Mixed-Use and Multi-Family development on the Transit Site that includes: (a) 549 Parking Spaces; (b) Transit (train) Station; and (c) Public Rooftop Amenities. The building has a gross area of 239,897sf comprised of 192,841sf of structured parking, 12,753sf of enclosed building, and 34,303sf of limited common area. Additionally, the train station will be constructed to replicate what was the century-old train station.
