Scope of Work Contractor shall supply all material and labor necessary to complete and repair the following project. Project Location Canine Campus Dog Park; 18200 84th Avenue Location Map o Maps of the location have been included with the bid documents. The highlighted portions of the maps indicate project locations. Measurements and Allowances o Contractor will be responsible for their own measurements of square footage asphalt. Crack filling o Contractor is responsible for all materials needed to complete the project and is to figure any and all materials into the bid price. o Approximations of measurements are made for reference only. REMOVAL SPECIFICATIONS o All agricultural fencing fabric and ties as shown on the map Section 1 are to be dismantled and removed. Fence is in-ground approximately 2'and will need to be trenched out. ~ approximately 962 LNFT o All terminal and line posts are to remain in ground and are to be re-used. o All tension bands loop caps, top rails, and hardware are to be re-used. o All materials to be removed from the site and become property of the contractor. INSTALLATION SPECIFICATIONS Install per map Section 1. Replace ~ approximately 962 LNFT with 6' wire (approximately 4' high above ground / 2' in-ground) 9 gauge black vinyl coated wire. o Line Fence Mesh and Wire Size: 2-inch mesh fencing of #9 gauge core. o Black color to comply with ASTM F 934. o Wire to be knuckle to knuckle top and bottom. o All hardware to comply to ASTM 626 and be of black color to match fabric. o Fencing material to be trenched and buried approximately 2' o Bottom Rails black vinyl coated to be added -to be one and five-eights (1-5/8") inch o Ties to be # 9 ties black vinyl to match fabric. All ties must be at 1' spacing. All rails top and bottom must have 6 ties per panel. o Trench to be backfilled and compacted to accept turf seed. Seeding will be completed by owner. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond or bank cashier's check payable to the Tinley Park-Park District for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid as provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No proposals or bids will be considered unless accompanied by such bond or check.
