The Scope of work is broken into three sections. Section one pertains to the ditch on the right side of the entrance, as you drive from Round Hill School Rd. into the site. Section two pertains to the pot hole repairs needed, and section three speaks to the final top coat of pavement Section 1: a. Clean and reestablish drainage ditch from pavement joint below gate to below the curve for a total of +/- 75'. b. Build a 2:1 side slope ditch, with 1' of depth using OGB stone and geotextile. c. Seed and straw any disturbed areas outside of the ditch area that were disturbed. Section 2: a. Remove temporary pot hole patches and existing 2-3" of failing pavement from repaired areas below the gate to Round Hill School Rd. b. If any of the base material is loose or unstable, it should be removed and replaced with suitable material. c. Provide and install new 2-3" of IM-19 intermediate mix asphalt back over these same areas patching them back to flush with the surrounding road. Section 3: a. Mill and cut a clean joint below the gate, above the curve, and at Round Hill School Rd for a clean tie in. b. Tack the existing asphalt with RC-250 liquid tar to insure a good bond between the old and new asphalt. c. Place a thin leveling or "scratch" course on any areas of the road with minor surface cracking. d. Provide and install 2 1/2 " (compacted) IM-19 intermediate mix asphalt back over the entire area from the milled and cut joint at Round Hill School Rd. and the milled and cut joint below the gate and above the curve
