Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Update:The City acquired this public park site from the developers of the Crown Neighborhood. This project will support its development as a park and rehabilitate several historic farm buildings located on the site. The City took ownership of the park parcel in January of 2020. The project will be done in phases, including the renovation of the Corn Crib Barn, which will be completed in FY23. The park design will start in FY24 and finish in FY24. Park construction will begin in FY24 and finish by FY26. As part of the AE design process, the City will repair the silos that sustained weather damage in FY24.
