As of December 20, 2024 project was awarded to Blue Diamond Equipment Company in the amount of $670,053.95 The work involves the following major item(s): The water main improvements involve installing approximately 1,500 linear feet of 12',8" and 6" water pipes, water services, hydrant, trench paving, and abandon existing water main on Sconticut Neck Road. The water main will be installed between November 2024 and February 2025. BID SECURITIES shall be in amount of 5% of the bid and in the form of a certified check drawn upon a bank within the State of Massachusetts or a bid bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Massachusetts, made payable to the OWNER. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% PERFORMANCE and PAYMENT BOND and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within five (5) days following notification of the acceptance of his Bid. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept any bid, to waive any informality on bids received, and to omit any item or items deemed advisable for the best interests of the OWNER. Bids are subject to Massachusetts-M.G.L. Chapter 30-Section 39M, and to Massachusetts minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. Chapter 149-Sections 26 to 27H inclusive. All costs associated with the preparation of the bids shall be the responsibility of the bidder, regardless of whether or not the Contract is awarded.
