Reference Number 0000321983 Huerfano County Economic Development Inc. ("HCED") has been awarded a Brownfield Community-Wide Assessment Grant in the amount of $500,000 from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ("EPA") and is seeking a firm to provide the services of a Qualified Environmental Professional to coordinate, direct, and oversee the brownfield site assessment activities at agreed upon sites. Interested Parties are invited to submit statements of qualifications and experience to provide environmental and engineering consulting services on a task order basis for HCED's new Brownfields program over a five-year period of performance. HCED is looking for firms, including Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, with documented experience providing environmental assessments on contaminated properties and related services for non-profits leading coordinated efforts with local governments and private businesses.
