Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Fort Pierce, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

Project location: Elks Park 2501 Delaware Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34947 1) Locate and identify all irrigation heads, valves etc., with County staff member. 2) Field layout, Little League Baseball field layout dimensions 3) Cut and remove existing turf, as well as infield hip. (Bidder responsible for onsite measurements for approximate square footage). 4) Haul spoils to on-site location within mile of work area. 5) Clean fill dirt, clay and warning track material will be furnished on site by St. Lucie County. 6) Re-establish proper grades and slopes for water runoff. 7) Purchase, deliver and install certified 419 Bermuda Sod. 8) Roll Sod after installation. 9) Rototill and laser level infield clay area in uniform slope. 10) Re-build pitching mound to meet Little League Baseball requirements. Project location: Ilous Ellis 1311 Avenue M, Fort Pierce, FL 34950 1) Locate and identify all irrigation heads, valves etc., with County staff member. 2) Regrade infield turf area and build pitcher's mound to high school specifications. 3) Approximately 7,200 sq. ft. 4) Existing turf and mound will be removed by St. Lucie County. 5) Regrade infield and bring up to correct grade for proper drainage, play and safety. 6) Sand and/or compost mix will be provided by St. Lucie County. 7) Purchase, deliver and install certified 419 Bermuda Sod rolls. Project location: Lakewood Park Regional Park 5990 Emerson Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34951 1) Locate and identify all irrigation heads, valves etc., with County staff member. 2) Field layout. The infield is going from a multi-age group setup to a traditional, full-size infield. 3) Cut and remove existing turf. 4) Haul spoils to onsite location within mile of work area. 5) Remove portions of warning track along hips to reduce width from 15 to 12 6) Clean fill dirt, clay and warning track material will be furnished on-site by St. Lucie County. 7) Purchase, deliver and install, certified 419 Bermuda Sod rolls. 8) Roll sod after installation 9) Rototill, laser level and regrade infield skin areas. 10) Remove existing pitchers mound and build new mound to high school/college level specifications. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor irregularities; reject any and all bids/proposals which are incomplete, conditional, obscure, or which contain additions not allowed for; accept or reject any proposal in whole or in part with or without cause; and accept the proposal which best serves the County.
