Renovations to Various Staff Bathrooms. Renovations Include Removal & Replacement of all Fixtures & Accessories, Patch Repairs to Floors, Walls & Ceilings and Installation of Epoxy Coating. Provide cost for the renovation of the Principal's Toilet - approx. 34 S.F. at East Islip High School, room T83. The scope of work includes the complete gut down to existing masonry walls, including gyp. board ceiling. Provide and install new ceramic tile on walls, floor and new ACT ceiling. Provide and install new plumbing fixtures and toilet accessories. Provide and install new light fixtures and switch. Provide cost for the renovation of two (2) toilets - approx. 22 S.F. each at Connetquot Elementary School rooms T98B & T99. The scope of work includes the replacement of toilet fixtures and toilet accessories in kind and removal and replacement of light fixtures. Patch and repair gyp. board ceiling, paint walls and floor with epoxy paint. Deadline for RFI's will be 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Any question or comment received after this time will not be answered. Make deposit check payable to the east islip union free school district. Bidder's deposit will be refunded if the set is returned in good condition within thirty (30) days following the award of the contract or the rejection of the bids covered by such plans and specifications. Non- Bidders shall receive partial reimbursement, in an amount equal to the amount of the deposit, less the actual cost of reproduction of the documents if the set is returned in good condition within thirty (30) days following the award of the contract or the rejection of the bids covered by such plans and specifications. Any bidder requiring documents to be shipped shall make arrangements with the printer and pay for all packaging and shipping costs. Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the east islip union free school district, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Certification of bonding company is required for this bid: see instructions for bidders section. Each bidder shall agree to hold his/her bid price for forty-five (45) days after the formal bid opening. A Performance and Payment bond will be required for the work. Each shall be in the amount of 100% of the contract sum. Refer to Article 11 of the General Conditions for requirements associated with such bonds. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality and to accept such bid which, in the opinion of the Board, is in the best interests of the School District.
