PID- HFLCEO250287PR This project is located in the Gila National Forest in western-central New Mexico. The terrain is rolling and mountainous with elevations ranging up to 8300 ft. The Romero Creek Bridge deck has large areas (approximately 60%) of delamination that are deep (2" to 10"). The most recent bridge inspection results indicate the structural evaluation of the bridge to be in poor to serious condition. This project would replace this bridge with a similar structure, add bridge rail/guardrail and pave the approaches 100' on each side of the bridge to keep rocks/debris/soil off the deck and to prevent sediment from entering the stream.
