OBJECTIVE: Retain the services of a professional to complete concrete work as needed in the City of Delta as determined by City of Delta staff. The City of Delta is requesting bids from qualified Contractors for the 2023 Concrete Replacement Project. Concrete replacement will take place at multiple locations throughout the City of Delta including but not limited to the intersection of Stafford Ln & Crawford Ave/H Rd SE corner (approx. 100 LF of Sidewalk and an ADA ramp) and more will be identified as Summer 2023 progresses. The successful bidder will identify the price per unit (linear feet for curb and gutter and square yards for sidewalks). The City will enter into a contract with the lowest most qualified bidder. When a project is identified, the lowest qualified bidder will be contacted and will have 10 working days to accept the project. For each project, the contract time for substantial completion of all required work shall be 60 working days from the date on which the Notice To Proceed is signed by the City of Delta. The work to be performed under this first contract shall commence as per dates in the Notice to Proceed and be completed no later than 90 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. If the lowest successful bidder is not able to complete the project within the above time constraints, the City of Delta will offer the project-specific contract to the next lowest bidder. 2023 Concrete Replacement Project at multiple locations within the city limits of Delta, CO. Question Deadline: June 12, 2023, @ 4:00 pm. The City reserves the right to amend this IFB by an addendum at any time prior to the date set for receipt of bids. The City of Delta reserves the right to reject any bids and all bids, or any part of a bid. Bidder agrees that all item(s) offered comply with all applicable Federal and State Occupational Safety and Health Act, laws, standards, and regulations, and that Bidder will indemnify and hold the City of Delta harmless for any failure to so conform. .
