Notice is hereby givin that Valley Water intends to release an RFP for As-Needed SCADA Support Services. The overall objective of this contract is to provide SCADA and control systems engineering technical services to support Valley Water on an as-needed basis. The specific objective is to retain one or more Process Control System Integrators (PCSIs, contractors) who will provide the as-needed technical services and capital project support services within SCADA, Control Systems, and Electrical, for the Valley Water facilities and infrastructure involved in the transmission, treatment, and distribution of water, including the following: 1. Water Conveyance SCADA System 2. Penitencia Water Treatment Plant and Distribution SCADA System 3. Rinconada Water Treatment Plant and Distribution SCADA System 4. Santa Teresa Water Treatment Plant and Distribution SCADA System 5. Silicon Valley Advanced Water Purification Center SCADA System 6. Reservoirs and Recharge Ponds SCADA System 7. SCADA communications systems including primary (usually wired communications) and secondary (usually wireless communications) 8. Additional support for ongoing capital projects when needed Note that all work performed on the systems described within this scope must be done at the Valley Water locations themselves.
