ENMAX Corporation is issuing this Request for Quotation (“RFQ”) for a safe, capable, and qualified Contractor to provide all materials, services, and Qualified Resources to complete a modernization or full replacement of a freight elevator. The Contractor will furnish labor and materials (the “Work”) to provide a first-class full modernization of the existing ONE SIMPLEX hydraulic freight elevator that fully complies with the CSA / CAN B44 19 SAFETY CODE FOR ELEVATORS AND ESCALATORS, including (a) new microprocessor control system will be a digital closed-loop solid state system specifically designed to meet the needs of modernizing of the existing KONE elevator and (b) the system will be a distributed network of modular microprocessor control units and solid-state performance measurement devices and use serial-link or CAN bus communication.
