Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Grover Beach, California. Completed plans call for site work for a 13,100-square-foot road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The City of Grover Beach Corporation Yard Re-Paving Project requires the need to remove and replace approximately 13,100 square feet of existing pavement with 2.5" of asphalt concrete over 4" of Class II base, minor grading at an abandoned stormwater inlet to adjust asphalt elevation, utility valve cover adjustments, removal and replacement of entrance gate traffic loop, installation of internal gate access keypad, trenching and installation of a compressed air line from the existing mechanic shop to Bay 3, and trenching and installation of blank conduit for the areas inside the gated property. Additionally, the pavement driveway area outside the security gate will be slurry sealed and striped. This work will also require the relocation of a handicap sign and trenching and laying of blank conduit. Please see Exhibit A for the proposed scope of work map The corporation yard shall be in operation during construction and access to the yard during construction must be maintained at all times for the Grover Beach Public Works Crew. Contractor shall coordinate work schedule with, and not interfere with, the ongoing Metal Building Remodel and Modifications Project in Bay 3 of the corporation yard's main material and storage building on south side of proper. The City reserves the right to delete any portion of the work described prior to the beginning of the work and the Contractor shall not be compensated for that work.
