Site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a water / sewer project in Port Deposit, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The new Port Deposit WWTP was completed and placed into service in September 2021 with a permitted capacity of 150,000 Gallons per day (GPD). Due to the projected development of Bainbridge, the capacity of the WWTP needs to be expanded to 250,000 GPD or more, to meet the projected demand. This project will fund design and construction of the capacity expansion. This project is included in the county’s fy 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program. As of December 3, 2024, further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
