Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Castro Valley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists, in general, of providing traffic control system and construction area signs; water pollution control work; clearing and grubbing; furnishing and applying water; saw cutting and removing existing concrete/asphalt concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk; constructing new concrete curb, gutter, sidewalks where none exist, driveways, driveway and walkway conforms, and a pedestrian ramp; installing HMA conforms at new lip of gutters; adjusting to finish grade a manhole, EBMUD water meter boxes, telephone boxes, and traffic signal boxes; and cleaning of the site at the end of the job.
