As of November 21, 2023, construction has been completed, however, an exact timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Sealed bids for bridge maintenance activities including concrete repairs, deck repairs, and sidewalk repairs The Council of Gettysburg Borough has authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Borough of Gettysburg. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to the Borough of Gettysburg in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is not subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. The Contract Time for this project is sixty (60) calendar days. The Borough of Gettysburg reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE - 6/23/2023 5:00 PM All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted to Engineer in writing via online *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
