The type of work the division will be performing is full-width overlays replacing the existing pavement, and point repairs in the roadways that require hand patching. The contractor will be responsible for applying the tack coat emulsion using a spreader truck to the existing pavement in preparation of the full width overlay of point repair. The surfaces may range from a base layer, milled pavement, and a clean asphalt or concrete surface.
