Administration Building Roof Replacement The school district reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informality in bids received. The Administration Building is approximately 6,300 SF roofing area needing replacement on a two story building. Option A - Membrane Roof 1. Install retrofit single ply system over existing trapezoidal standing seam metal roof in a grey finish to match the existing metal roof to remain. 2. Remove and replace vertical flashing with new. Attach New flashing to existing wall girts. 3. All gutters, downspouts, and flashing would be raised to match the new level of roofing. 4. Install new single ply roof system, as follows: a. Trapezoidal R panel-existing i. EPS Flute fill ii. 1/2 " densdeck roof board iii. 60 mil Sikaplan fastened roof membrane (Rhinobond) or equivalent iv. 72 mil S327 (Rhinobond) Alternate 5. Repair or replace gutters and downspouts to match the current finish of existing gutters. 6. Include at least a 20 year warranty on parts and labor. 7. Remove all waste and debris. Option B - Metal Roof 1. Remove the existing standing seam metal roof and replace with a new standing seam metal roof grey in color. a. An alternative option is to install new standing seam metal roof on top of the existing standing seam metal roof. Install 3" unfaced roll form insulation at an R-Value of 10 or greater. 2. The new standing seam metal roof must stretch the entire length of the roof pitch and not be pieced. 3. All gutters, downspouts, and flashing would be adjusted if need to match a different level of roofing 4. Install new standing seam metal roof using usual and customary installation practices. 5. Repair or replace gutters and downspouts to match the current finish of existing gutters. 6. Include at least a 20 year warranty on parts and labor. 7.
