Site work and new construction of a residential development in Utica, New York. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The Municipal Housing Authority of the City of Utica, New York ((hereinafter, “UMHA”) – People First, d/b/a, is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced co-developers (including development partners with contractors) as well as firms to jointly redevelop the housing authority’s Low Income Public Housing developments as well as the development of new affordable housing opportunities. The developer will be responsible for creating a comprehensive redevelopment plan, securing financing, and acting as the co-developer. The UMHA, which has considerable experience in affordable housing development, will serve as developer partner and will play a major role in redevelopment efforts. The successful Respondent should have extensive experience working with housing authorities and government entities on affordable housing development, acquisition, construction, LIHTC, RAD, and rehabilitation of HUD ACC units, and mixed finance.
