Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sulphur Springs, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work for which proposals are invited will consist of 441 asphalt concrete roadway resurfacing and cold constructed asphalt roadway resurfacing. All proposals shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the bid or a bond for the full amount of the bid, payable to Liberty Township in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Each bidder shall be required to file with his bid a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of his bid, or a bid bond for the full amount of his bid, payable to the Liberty Township Trustees. The successful bidder shall furnish an approved Performance Bond for the full and faithful performance of the contract, in a penal sum of one-hundred percent (100%) of the base amount of the contract. The bond shall be a corporate surety bond furnished by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio. Liberty Township shall be named as obligee on the Performance Bond. Minimum wage rates for this project have been predetermined, as required by law The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, or to accept any proposal that is deemed most favorable to Liberty Township. Date set for completion: October 27, 2023
