Saving Project...

Renovation of a medical facility in San Francisco, California. Design plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

This project relocates and expands the existing 4,600 GSF Psychiatric Emergency Services Department from the southwest corner on the 1st floor of Building 5 (Ward 1B), to the southeast area of the 1st floor (Ward 1E). The scope includes a dedicated PES ambulance drop-off adjacent to the Adult Urgent Care Entrance between Building 5 and the proposed USCF Research Building to the west. The scope adds approximately 1,800 GSF for an expanded day room, patient services, and secure staff work and support areas. The project will also include selective structural demolition of the existing reinforced concrete infill walls and canopy elements. Pankow Builders will also be accepting pre-qualification RFQs from interested subcontractors in order to be added to the bidding pool and be eligible to submit trade package bids for future bids. The ongoing pre-qualification RFQ process will end September 2025. A firm timeline to construction has not been announced. *This project is one of 8 separate components.
