Renovation of an educational facility in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a three-story above grade educational facility.
This project has prequalified firms that submitted State- ments of Qualifications per the prior advertisement. This project is not seeking new bidders. A list of prequalified General Bidders and Sub-Bidders will be available in the Bid Documents, posted to the FTP Site, and available upon re- quest at bid.info@boston.gov. The scope of work is further detailed in the specifications; the project consists of the existing Washington Irving Ele- mentary School Project shall be fully renovated and provid- ed with a three (3) story new addition All bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond deposit of the amount bid, DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility (approved in the applicable trade/category of work and DCAMM Up- date Statement. All interested bidders are directed to the bid specifications and plans for full information on any and all requirements applicable to this bid. A performance bond and labor and materials payment bond satisfactory to the Awarding Authority in the sum of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder. Expected contract duration is for 480 days. Prevailing wages shall apply Deadline for questions: January 16, 2024. All questions must be submitted in writing directly to bid.info@bos- ton.gov.
