Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project will involve the following removal and replacement of ADA curb ramps and sidewalks. All work is to be done in strict compliance with the Project Manual prepared by City of Iowa City Engineering Division, of Iowa City, Iowa, which has heretofore been approved by the City Council, and are on file for public examination in the Office of the City Clerk. The Project will involve the following removal and replacement of ADA curb ramps and sidewalks. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and in the form shown in Section 0510, said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City, and shall guarantee the prompt payment of all materials and labor, and also protect and save harmless the City from all claims and damages of any kind caused directly or indirectly by the operation of the contract, and shall also guarantee the maintenance of the improvement for a period of one (1) year from and after its completion and formal acceptance by the City Council. Specified Start Date: July 31, 2023 Substantial Completion Date: October 20, 2023 Final Completion Date: May 24, 2024 Liquidated Damages: $250.00 per day The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and also reserves the right to waive technicalities and irregularities.
