Separate lump-sum bid(s) will be received for: Scope of Work No. 01 - General Construction Scope of Work No. 02 - Earthwork and Utilities Scope of Work No. 03 - Building and Site Concrete Scope of Work No. 04 - Steel Material and Erection Scope of Work No. 05 - Metal Studs, Drywall and Ceilings Scope of Work No. 06 - Aluminum Entrances, Storefronts, Curtainwall and Glazing Scope of Work No. 07 - Roofing and Metal Panels Scope of Work No. 08 - Flooring Scope of Work No. 09 - Plumbing and HVAC Scope of Work No. 10 - Electrical and Low Voltage Each successful bidder shall be required to furnish a corporate surety bond in an amount equal to 100% of its contract price. Said bonds to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the School Board and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment of all material and labor. Bid Security shall be in the amount of 5% of the bid amount and in the form of a cashier's check or certified check drawn on a solvent Iowa bank or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States, or a bid bond in the form prescribed in the specifications, executed by a corporation authorized to contract as a surety in Iowa. The check or bid bond shall be made payable to the treasurer of Indian Hills Community College. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding. The date of commencement ofthe Work shall be August 21, 2023.
