The Panhandle Regional Planning Commission (PRPC), is seeking proposals to provide professional services to assist in reviewing and assessing the PRPC facility HVAC system. The successful firm(s) will demonstrate knowledge of HVAC systems for commercial buildings. I. Statement of Qualifications The Panhandle Regional Planning Commission is seeking to contract with a competent firm(s) or individual(s), with the necessary credentials and qualifications, that has specific experience and knowledge in providing mechanical services to make a full assessment of the existing building HVAC system. Please provide with your statement of qualifications including the approach to executing the work associated with this project, a list of at least five (5) projects with a similar scope of work, resumes for team members associated with the project should you receive the contract award, and a list of proposed sub-consultants or team members who are or may be involved in your proposal. II. Scope of Services The Respondent selected through this RFQ will provide an analysis of the existing HVAC system, alternatives for update and replacement. The selected Respondent may also assist in the completion of the State Energy Conservation Office (SECO) Loan Program application (RFA No. BE-G26- 2023) as well as an assessment of increased energy efficiencies through an update of the HVAC system. The Respondent shall provide a full analysis of the existing building HVAC system and make recommendations for necessary improvements, replacements or updates to the system. The analysis should include updates to the existing system and/or alternatives that may necessitate replacement of the existing system. Analysis will provide potential costs, timelines and increased energy efficiencies. The qualified Respondent will assess the existing HVAC system and if the construction phase is pursued scope of work will also include the design of a full HVAC system and preparation of bid documents. The RFQ will be inclusive of the Bidding and Construction Documents for updating and/or replacement of the existing HVAC equipment serving the PRPC building if the construction services phase is pursued. The following generally describes the Project scope.
