Geotechnical consulting services may include, but are not limited to, the following types of project-related tasks: Organize and supervise the drilling of boreholes, including the coordination of all sub-contractors; Perform in-depth geotechnical ground investigation and analysis, including test drilling and borehole cutting to establish geotechnical characteristics, strength and design parameters; Perform in-depth soil inspections, testing and analysis, including water and soil sampling to detect any potential contamination; Install groundwater monitoring wells and collect groundwater samples; Perform erosion control studies, analyzes and designs; Perform drainage studies, analyzes and designs; Study the seismic factors that must be taken into account for the design of foundations; Prepare and submit geotechnical reports; The estimated value of this Supplier Directory is approximately $1,200,000 over three (3) years with the option to extend for two (2) additional one (1) year periods and increase the value up to a maximum of $800,000 at any time. The estimated total of this potential supply is approximately $2,000,000 over five (5) years. The request for proposals is expected to begin in the summer of 2023. This is conditional on the approval of the contract by the Department of National Defense (DND).
