Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Johnston, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services will be receiving bids for the site improvements, utilities, electrical, and concrete for the DPS JOH Fire Service Training Tower Facility, Johnston, Iowa 50131. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services anticipates construction to begin on May, 2024 and end on December 17, 2024. The Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America. This project is exempt from Iowa Sales Tax. Davis Bacon Wages will not apply to this project Questions must be submitted by 2:00 pm, April 24, 2024, to the Issuing Officer.
