Carroll County Housing Authority Carroll Apartments Housing Units 2023 Sidewalk and Patio Replacements. This project includes the construction of Portland cement concrete sidewalks, patios, a garage floor and other work at the Carroll Apartment housing units located at 2009 Wacker Road in Savanna, Illinois. Work includes the removal of 2,690 square feet of existing concrete patios, stoops and sidewalks, replacement with 3,760 square feet of concrete patio and sidewalk surfaces, 4 reinforced concrete wing walls, removal of 250 square feet of 5 foot sidewalk and replacement with earth fill, a 1,500 square foot concrete interior garage floor, two-6 inch diameter buried site storm water conveyance system with dry sump collection, surface restoration and other incidental work. The work is subject to the minimum salaries and wages set forth in the contract documents and the contractor must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Materials furnished on this project shall be of domestic origin and/or manufacture. The Carroll County Housing Authority reserves the right to withhold bid documents to unqualified bidders and to reject bids or waive technicalities in the bidding. The Housing Authority reserves the right to select the contractor based on its determination of the most advantageous proposal and its decision will be final. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of opening for the purpose of evaluation prior to awarding the contract.
