The City of Emporia will accept sealed bids from chemical companies for the purchase of chemicals for the City's Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants for FY24. All chemicals must meet all AWWA standards. Minimum order of lime or carbon will be 2 to 4 Super Sacks. All chemicals shall meet the AWWA standards and have NSF approval. The City requires that all bulk shipments have a document stating the chemical analysis of grade and strength of the shipment. The City of Emporia reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept any bid in part or in entirety. The City shall award this bid to the successful vendor via purchase order and the City considers the purchase order as a contract between the City and the vendor.
