As of August 13, 2024, per owner, engineer has been selected. General contractor bidding in the next six months. Awaiting permit from IEPA, unknown construction start date. The City of Geneva has two (2) existing sanitary sewer lift stations in need of improvements. Station #1 involves the replacement of an emergency generator. Station #2 involves the addition of pump/rails to an existing wet well, additional piping inside the lift station building, electrical and SCADA for the new pump. The City is requesting assistance from an experienced firm(s) to complete the following tasks: Station #1: 1. Prepare design and bidding documents for the replacement of the emergency generator. The current generator is inside a building. The new generator is proposed to be located outside. Provide engineer's estimate of probable cost. Station #2: 1. Prepare design and bidding documents for: The addition of pump and rails to an existing wet well. Installation of piping inside the lift station building for the new pump, connecting to an existing force main. Electrical and SCADA for the new pump(s), connecting to an existing electrical panel located inside the lift station building. Provide engineer's estimate of probable cost. Qualifications Statement Requirements: Interested parties should prepare qualifications that detail the following: Section 1. - Firm's experience in performing design and bidding specifications for the above tasks. Section 2. - List of projects of similar nature with contact information. Section 3. - Firm's proposed project team, including proposed technical experts, project manager.
