As of September 06 ,2022, project is cancelled. Project is no longer needed. Board of Supervisors, Yalobusha County, Mississippi Yalobusha General Hospital and Nursing Home Infrastructure Upgrades The Project consists of the removal and replacement of existing HVAC units, fire alarm, Air Cooled Chiller, New Lobby Doors, new vacuum pump, and new boilers in the hospital, nursing home and Office building as shown in the Contract Documents, dated March 3, 2023. Contractors are required to visit the site prior to bidding to become familiar with and aware of existing conditions. If the contractor fails to visit the site, they will not be relieved of performing work that he or she is not aware exists. Please contact the owner (Todd Hughes - 662-473-5925) to make arrangements for site visits. Any damage to existing building materials, interior or exterior, related to this work shall be repaired or replaced at no additional cost to the owner back to its original condition. All required calculations, testing data, field measurements and shop drawings for new products, etc shall be provided by the contractor and stamped by a licensed structural engineer licensed to practice engineering in the state of Mississippi. A NON-SITE SUPERINTENDENT WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE ON SITE AT ALL TIMES WHEN WORK IS BEING PERFORMED. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to 5% of the bid, payable to the Board of Supervisors, Yalobusha County, Mississippi as bid security. A Payment and Performance Bond and Builders Risk Insurance in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder. All eligible Section 3 businesses are encouraged to submit a proposal. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest, best and acceptable bidder, except that the Board of Supervisors, Yalobusha County, Mississippi reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding and to reject any and all bids.
