Renovation of a civil project in Woodstown, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Furnish and install a slide gate on the downstream side of the influent pipe of the influent pump station wet well at the wastewater treatment plant. Temporary bypass operations are required for completion of the Contract work. The existing 14-inch ductile iron influent pipe is to be trimmed to accommodate the new slide gate and the existing ladder within the wet well is to be removed and properly disposed of. The existing wet well is to be cleaned; waste within the existing wet well is to be removed and properly disposed of. The slide gate shall be installed in a true vertical plane, square and plumb, with no twist, convergence, or divergence between the vertical legs ofthe guide frame. The Contractor shall fill any void between the guide frame and the structure with nonshrink grout. A Pre-Bid conference has not been scheduled for this project. Bidders questions are requested by June 19,2023. Bids must be accompanied by a Certificate of Surety from an acceptable surety and a bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Woodstown Sewerage Authority in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount but not in excess of $20,000.00. The overall project includes furnishing and installing a retrofitted safety grate as well as a slide gate to control sewage flow at the influent pump station of the wastewater treatment plant. During the work, the Contractor will be required to bypass pump around the influent pump station pumps. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, and to waive any informalities or minor defects therein, should it be deemed in the best interest of the Owner, in accordance with Local Public Contracts Law and will determine the lowest responsible and responsive bidder in compliance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-24. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. A Pre-Bid conference has not been scheduled for this project.
