Reference Number 0000326656 Bid Intent Not Available Question Acceptance Deadline 08/18/2023 04:30 PM EDT Questions are submitted online Yes The City of Knoxville Fleet Services Department is seeking a contractor to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, and materials to install a 32 mil floor coating at the Fleet Light Equipment Garage. The areas included in the of work are approximately 9,538 square feet (121.5 ft x 78.5 ft) and 1,544 square feet (19.8 ft x 78.5 ft). Due to operational needs, installation must be contained to only half of the shop at a time. Only after the first half is finished and operational to Fleet Services can the second half of the project be started. Bidders need to plan accordingly for this two-phase aspect of the project. All materials, tools, and equipment must be on site and ready to use before any area of Fleet Services' Light Shop is closed so there is minimal down time. Before work begins on the project the contractor must install a poly dust partition between the construction area and the Fleet Services operational area of the shop.
