Question Acceptance Deadline 06/26/2023 04:30 PM EDT Questions are submitted online Yes General Requirements - Contractors License Required - Insurance Required o Demo, removal, disposal of feed water tank o Provide and install replacement boiler feed system to include pumps o Isolate return, supply, drain and vent piping from the exsting skidmore package unit o Remove the electrical from the existing skidmore packaged unit o Remove piping as is necessary to allow repipe of the system to new unit o Remove the skidmore packaged unit o Provide new 4-inch housekeeping pad for the new return system (if current pad too small) o Set new system on new housekeeping pad, the unit being offered shall be shipped in a knocked down configuration to allow fit through existing doorways to the mechanical room o Install new piping from the basket strainer on the return main to the new tank o Install new make up water line to the new storage tank. Note: existing backflow is 3/4 inch o Install new piping from the pumps and tie back in to the pumped lines at the old discharge location o Install new threadolet on the steam line feeding the old unit and pipe to the new temperature regulating valve to maintain tank water temperature to guard against shock to boilers o Rework the vent line to allow connection to the exisitng vent line from the old receiver o Install new drain line from bottom of new tank to allow flush out of tank at owner's discretion o Reconnect electrical to the new panel of the pump skid system o Start test and check operation of system o Insulate condensate return piping, make up water, and pump discharge piping affected by removal work; all insulation is fiberglass with PVC jacketed fittings and ASJ/SSL jacket on piping o Start up and testing of new system
