The successful bidder (Contractor) will provide provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision and services for asbestos abatement and environmental services. The Project Management Contractor (“PM Contractor”) is to furnish all asbestos project management services, materials, documentation, insurance and equipment in accordance with the Texas Asbestos Health Protection Act, Texas Civil Statutes, Article 4477-3a (“Act”) and all Federal Standards adopted by the Act excluding asbestos contractor employee personnel monitoring as required by OSHA and asbestos abatement. Services are to be provided as requested by The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (“UTMDACC”) Asbestos Consultants and/or Contract Project Coordinator (hereinafter “UTMDACC Consultants”). The language of this Agreement controls all work at UTMDACC on or related to Asbestos Project Management, Bulk Sampling, Bulk Analysis and On-Site Asbestos Project Air Monitoring and Analysis, whether generated from the Department of Environmental Health & Safety or other departments. Any and all work at UTMADCC on or related to Asbestos Project Management, Bulk Sampling, Bulk Analysis and On-Site Asbestos Project Air Monitoring and Analysis must be performed within the general oversight of the Contract Project Coordinator. PM Contractor shall be available to UTMDACC on an “as needed” or “as requested” basis to provide Asbestos Project Management, Asbestos Abatement Air Monitoring, Bulk Sampling and Bulk Sample Analysis.
