Renovation of a municipal facility in Center Point, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade municipal facility.

As of August 24,2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Exterior Stair - Demolition of existing stair and covered bridge connector between the two story building and one story City Hall Building, replacement of the Emergency egress stair for entry and exit from the two story building. This includes all new structural steel and foundations, TPO roofing, Priming and painting, stair steel pan with poured-in-place concrete treads, and new lighting. New Pavilion - After the Owner removes structures in the courtyard, a new concrete slab and foundations will be poured to support a new aluminum 19 x 29 Pavilion Cover (including overhang), new lighting and power, new wood screen wall and modifications to existing wood ramp and stair necessary, new concrete sidewalks. New Cantilevered Canopy to be provided at the City Hall side entry. Other Miscellaneous Work- Modifications as required to existing covered walks adjacent to new construction. Existing vinyl siding on City Hall will need to be replaced with new matching siding to be as visually seamless as possible. The City of Center Point will be responsible for the final landscaping and any exterior furnishings for the Pavilion. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept any bid considered advantageous to the Owner. A certified check bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany each proposal not to exceed $10,000.00. The payee of such check, or the oblige of such bond, shall be the City of Center Point, Alabama. The Contractor shall obtain and pay for all licenses and permits required by the State, County, or City authorities having jurisdiction over the various phases of the work.
