THE CITY OF BURBANK'S COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT IS SOLICITING COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS FROM QUALIFIED FIRMS TO CONTRACT FOR HOUSING QUALITY STANDARDS (HQS) INSPECTION SERVICES. All communications during the open solicitation shall be exclusively through the Purchasing Department contact listed. It is the bidder's responsibility to become familiar with the solicitation documents in their entirety. Select "Place e-bid" to start entering bid information. All information entered is visible only to bidder. Data entered may be "saved" or "submitted" and revised or withdrawn up to the closing deadline. It is the Bidder's/Respondent's sole responsibility to contact the City's online bid management provider (PlanetBids at 818-992-1771) to resolve any technical issues related to electronic bidding, including (but not limited to) registering as a vendor, updating passwords, updating profiles, uploading/downloading documents, submitting an electronic bid/proposal, etc. Bidders/Respondents must submit all questions pertaining to this solicitation through the City's Online Bid Management System, by selecting the "Q&A" tab. Questions sent directly to any City Staff will not be addressed and you will be directed to submit your question(s) online. When documents are requested via electronic submission, documents must be uploaded in PDF format (unlocked, non-password protected). It is the Bidder's/Proposer's responsibility to ensure their documents are properly uploaded onto the City's online bid management system. Submissions that are missing pages, cannot be opened, are locked, etc. may be considered unresponsive. All submission shall be in PDF format (unlocked, non-password protected) unless otherwise instructed in the solicitation documents.
