Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Plan, design, construct improvements to Paseo del Norte including but not limited to additional travel lanes, bike/ped/trail improvements/ ADA compliance, drainage, signal, lighting, and ITS elements. It will provide a minimum, four-lane connection for Paseo from Interstate 25 to Unser. This project is included in the Albuquerque Metropolitan Planning Area 2024-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of August 7, 2024, per owner, this project design is complete. Next steps are to secure funding and select a general contractor. Advertising for a contractor to begin October/November 2024 and a mandatory pre-bid meeting to be scheduled with any contractors interested by late 2024 or early 2025. Opening of bids is anticipated for the project in the first quarter of 2025 with construction scheduled to begin in the second or third quarter of 2025.
