A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Developer-Operator Services relating to the Camp Verde Processing Facility for The University of Arizona invites interested and qualified Developer-Operator Firms/Teams to submit a written Proposal to provide Developer-Operator Services for a proposed new Camp Verde Processing Facility to be located on SR 260, Camp Verde, Arizona. The proposed meat processing facility will be programmed, designed, constructed, and operated by the successful Developer Operator. A portion of the funding for development and operation of the project has been allocated by the State of Arizona through the University of Arizona, and will be made available to the developer via successive draws based on demonstrated progress. Project Description Utilizing land and funding provided by the Arizona Board of Regents, program, design, construct and operate a multi-species meat processing facility handling a minimum of 50 animals per month to serve the local ranching community. In the operations phase, this facility will support the education of up to 25 students per semester with accommodations and value added services, in conjunction with Yavapai Community College and the University of Arizona. It will also support data collection on the operations for analysis at the University of Arizona. The opportunity exists, at the respondents' discretion, to propose on-site retail sales.
